2D Motion Day 1
Vectors
We've already talked about the difference between scalars and vectors. Now you need to start using them with a little more elbow grease. When you are done with this lesson you should be able to
- draw vectors properly
- add vectors (it gets a little weird, so pay attention) both graphically and mathematically
- find the components of a vector.
The official wording in the core curriculum:
a. Use vector diagrams to represent the forces acting on an object.
....although we won't be talking about forces until the next unit, today's lesson leads up to this part of the core.
If you miss class today, watch both videos, read the text pages. Take notes. Do the homework. Bring your homework in with a copy of those notes that you can give to me. Be ready to score the assignment when you come in.
